For this weeks cool tools i decided to do an Ebook maker. I used the website https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/my-ebook-maker/ghlhjjfkeghahhinonefjehckgambhhg?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon.
First upon visiting the site it asks for a name and your email. Using that you create a profile, for free.
I found it easy to figure out. Some features were hard to figure out, like the copy and pasting of words and photos. I also couldn't find a way to insert saved photos.
In my classroom, this will be very productive. I hope to make books with each of my classes, about the different subjects that we cover in school. (science, math, music ect)
This could be very helpful to getting my classes to remember the material i cover. Also it gives them confidence in what they are doing. It can instill pride in their work.
This app is easy enough to use and with the help of a teacher, it could be mastered very quickly. The fact that everything is labeled and displayed like word processor, makes it easy to use.
It could be challenging if a child makes a mistake and forgets to save. Or the computer restarts. Also if the student wants to go back and change things it is a very big hassle.
